Dr. Luetmer is an MD, board-certified in Family Medicine.
She has also had extensive functional medicine training not only with the Wahl’s Protocol®, but has also completed all the courses through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has trained extensively for environmental illnesses by completing the CIRS courses through A4M under Dr. Shoemaker and Dr. Heyman, as well as courses and mastermind groups with Dr. Neil Nathan and Jill Crista, Dr. Wahl’s Mycotoxin course, Dr. Horowitz’s Lyme Intensive, as well as ISEAI and the Environmental Health Symposiums. She has completed Dr. Kharrazian’s courses and is currently enrolled in his mastermind program. She has completed the ADAPT course with Chris Kresser as well as others. She continues to seek out education in order to be able to help each patient’s individual needs.
As a Family Medicine Physician, she combines her approach to each patient, using medication when necessary, but always looking for the root cause and trying to treat that. She looks for ways to help each patient flourish, and understands that each person has their own unique genetics, experiences, and past that combine into the person they are today – and looks at each person individually.
As a Wahl’s Protocol Practitioner and functional medicine provider, she combines lifestyle and diet protocols, taking into account personal uniqueness and needs to help with autoimmune issues and other chronic illnesses. She has health coaches who also work with patients to dig into any barriers they may encounter as they implement important changes into their daily lives. She provides extensive online education and live meetings with her members to encourage community, provide support, and allow members to remain engaged and on track.
