Stuffed Cabbage

“Several large strips steamed Cabbage – I use the whole cabbage! Makes enough for a party, we love leftovers!”
  • Stuffing
  • 1lb Hamburger or ground turkey
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • 1 Tablespoons molasses
  • Salt and pepper to taste[br]
  • Sauce
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 Fresh Lemon
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 Can water
  • 1 Tablespoons molasses
  • 1 to 2 TBS grated ginger
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Take raw beef or turkey, mix in stuffing ingredients.
  3. Add a decent amount of stuffing meat mix and roll with lightly steamed cabbage.
  4. Cover with tinfoil and bake 20 minutes.
  5. On the side, while baking, mix Tomato paste, water, chopped onion, lemon, and molasses to pan and bring to a boil.
  6. Remove rolled cabbage and add mixture from pan on top of all the cabbage rolls. Cover again with tinfoil and put back into over.
  7. Bake another 20 minutes.
