Liver and Onions

Ingredients
- Coating for the liver
- 1:1 coconut flour & almond meal
- pinch sea salt
- pinch freshly ground pepper
- garlic powder to taste
- Entree Ingredients
- chicken liver, cut in strips
- 3 tablespoons bacon fat
- sliced mushrooms
- diced scallions or onion
- diced celery
- 1 cup chicken or beef broth (I used some leftover beef bone broth I had made. Delish!)
Instructions
- The key is to cook at a high heat so the liver browns right away.
- Then cook at medium for a few more minutes with the veggies and then pour in the broth and cook until they are done.
- I tend to use extra garlic as well.
