I also encourage you to take part in a clinical trial. For many, being in a clinical trial provides additional motivation to make and sustain dietary improvements. Having one family member in a diet study often helps the whole family improve their diet. Consider being in one of our upcoming trials today.
Relapsing-remitting MS patients
We have included an element of time restricted eating (TRE) in our clinical trial “Efficacy of Diet on Quality of Life in Multiple Sclerosis (NCT05007483).” We need people with relapsing-remitting MS, between the ages of 18 and 70, who are willing to be randomized to one of three diets: time restricted olive oil ketogenic, modified Paleolithic or usual diet. It is important to have a comparison group or a control arm, in this case the usual diet arm. Learn more about the study here.
You also can join our patient database to be notified about future research opportunities by completing this brief survey. We also periodically conduct survey-only based studies which do not require in-person visits. We would love to include you in our in our database so you can learn about our future studies.
Two New Populations for a Study of an Online Wellness Program
While the study of MS patients is complete, we have added two new populations to our online wellness program study (NCT05057676). We are looking for people with fibromyalgia and post-acute sequela of COVID 19 (also known as long COVID). This study evaluates whether access to an online wellness course leads to reduced symptoms and improved quality of life in these conditions. You must be an adult and live in North America to participate in this online-only study.
- Fibromyalgia Patients: If you have fibromyalgia, complete this survey to see if you are eligible to participate.
- Post-acute sequela of COVID-19 Patients: If you have post-acute sequela of COVID-19, complete this survey to see if you are eligible to participate.
Changing the standard of care
Help us change the standard of care for people with chronic disease so they will be told that improving diet is an important part of managing their illness. We need people like you to participate in a clinical trial to build the evidence that changing what we eat or the time we eat can impact symptoms and improve quality of life.
