As an Independent prescriber pharmacist, I am a specialist in medicines, which includes their interactions and side effects.  I have been dealing with patients taking more than 10 medications `for 15 years.  I am a strong believer that a focused and tailored nutrition approach must be part of every human being’s healing journey, and also fundamental to maintaining health.

When patients start manifesting signs and symptoms, but haven’t received a specific diagnosis for chronic disease, lifestyle and nutrition interventions are good places to start. Unfortunately, in my experience, most of the time patients have been left by their physician with few basic nutrition advice and a follow-up appointment to see if the patient’s condition will further deteriorate to be able to start disease-modifying drugs. Sadly very often the latter will be the case.
