Marin earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northern Arizona University in 2014. Since then, she has worked in a variety of outpatient settings treating everyone from elite athletes to weekend warriors, older adults, and those suffering with chronic pain or neurological conditions.
She understands the challenges and frustration of injury, having healed from a variety of sports injuries, chronic back and hip pain from scoliosis, and chronic autoimmune symptoms stemming from gut inflammation. After surgeries and lots of rehab, her most effective and lasting relief has come from myofascial release integrated with neuromuscular exercises as well as a functional medicine approach to treating her gut. She enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
Marin has extensive training in the John Barnes Approach to MFR, is certified in dry needling through the Integrative Dry Needling Institute, and utilizes cupping, gua sha, and Reiki in her practice. She also uses electrical stimulation, vibration plates, and red light therapy in addition to manual therapies and exercise to help individuals regain function.
