Jessica Marcus Nutrition
The weekend I was accepted to medical school, I began having strange symptoms with my voice. A few weeks later, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness caused by a weakness in my immune system – recurrent respiratory papillomatosis. Benign tumors were growing on my vocal cords, and they were expected to continue growing indefinitely. I was facing a scary future with multiple surgeries and unforeseen impacts on my life.
I decided to withdraw my medical school acceptance and, instead, began a personal journey back to my own health. Along this journey, I’ve discovered truly vibrant health. And I’ve fostered a deeper sense of purpose and connection in my work with my patients.
I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist, a wife, and a mom of three. I am fiercely passionate about food as medicine, and I love helping people find their way to genuine health.
I offer one-on-one nutritional counseling, group classes, cooking classes, and seminars. I’m trained in the Wahls Protocol, whole foods cooking, health coaching, and functional medicine.
